Our hens spend their days foraging on pasture in the fresh air and sunshine, and are protected at night in a mobile coop. Their coop is moved to a new area of pasture about once a week so their manure is spread around the pasture feeding the soil, insects and grass. Our hens only spend time on a given area of pasture for one week every six months. This gives Mother Nature time to kill any bad bugs that may be present, which ensures our hens stay happy and healthy year round.
